Action Adventure World: The project of Duane “8Bit Duane” Zuwala, a rapper and beatsmith based in Flint, Michigan. Drawing on influences from the punk and metal genres of music, Duane fuses these with both hip hop, and video game music to create the sounds of Action Adventure World. The songs are primarily recreations of Video Games in both composition and lyrical content, the listener being taken on a nostalgia fueled journey to the “Action Adventure” worlds of their youth.
8Bit Duane also writes music and stars in his own video game series “Action Adventure World: The Game”. Both releases are available at www.actionadventureworld-game.com.

Swimming in bass, lasers, magic (Dude Source features Magician Victor Agreda), fantastic jewelry/costumes, a blitz of Wizarding references integrated into a choke-you-to-death rap flow and enough weird swagger to lift the building up off the ground….you are unlikely to see a show like this again in your life. The Shinobi MC: Shinobi Onibocho, AKA the shinobi MC is a dangerous and deadly rapper who utilizes ancient, lyrical ninjitsu to flip words and verbs into lethal manifestations of absolute skill. This story begins like any other; in a kitchen with a lot of mayonnaise. Young Shinobi (Or ‘lil baby ninja, as he was called) was climbing onto the counterwhen he was bitten by a radioactive rapper, bestowing him with near-human rapping potential. He has been rapping
for audiences of indeterminate social status, demeanor, age and upbringing for what seems like a god-damn century.
MC COOL WHIP: Nerdcore Hip-Hop Artist out of Strongsville, Ohio. His subject material would include songs about Helen Keller in space, the zombie apocalypse, dinosaurs, and bad game show experiences. With great stage banter and songs, he has been able to open for noticeable acts such as Vanilla Ice, Shwayze and MC Frontalot. MC COOL WHIP provides laughs and bobbing heads whenever he is up on stage rapping. MC COOL WHIP’s new album entitled “COOL WHIP Recipes” is now available on Itunes!
Gavin Goszka: Gavin may be best known as one half of the bestselling gothic horror soundtrack outfit Midnight Syndicate, but he is also an avid fan of anime music and has been a musical guest at conventions throughout the Midwest, including GenCon Indy and Cincinnati’s A&G Ohio. Formally trained in both piano and voice, he discovered anime music mainly through internet radio and quickly became hooked, finding that many of the songs he loved to listen to were equally enjoyable and challenging to play. Gradually picking up the Japanese language along the way, he began performing the material live as a way of sharing his appreciation of it with a wider audience.Gavin has been playing, writing and recording music since age seven, and has been doing solo acoustic shows for the past 10 years. In addition to performing acoustic and semi-acoustic renditions of popular anime songs, he will also be celebrating Midnight Syndicate’s 13th Anniversary with an informative panel and Q&A session, and will be on-hand for a screening of The Dead Matter movie. His latest project is an all-original English-language album featuring vocaloid Megurine Luka – for more details, please visit: http://www.homecirclemedia.com.

StarF: Submerged in the Minneapolis, Minnesota music scene (yes, it exists!), StarF is as much of an artist as he is a fan of Hip Hop. After writing lyrics for years and realizing he needed to find a way to transmute his words into song, he began his journey into rapping around April of 2006. After years of hard work and improvement, he finally found his way to Scrub Club, which was not just another record label, but a collection of people who he could relate to and call his family. Raised by internet culture and obsessed with music, StarF blends a mixture of poetics and edgy humor into everything he produces. Every new projectis approached as the beginning of something that will better himself rather than a means to an end, and as so, StarF is consistently progressing and leveling up withinthe Nerdcore community. While socially awkward to a noticeable degree, StarF still loves everyone in the community he meets. Despite any awkwardness, he will never hesitate to grab a mic and rock it for a crowd.
Mattari 2600: Nerdcore hip-hop artist making music for the love of music. My music is free and will ALWAYS be free. I started doing this because I’ve always wanted to create my own tunes, but I’ve never had any instrumental talent. I tried being in an electro band, but that was a joke more than anything. After listening to a bunch of old-school and nerdcore hip-hop for a few years, I realized that I’m actually a decent writer, and can flow pretty well, so I gave it a shot, and here I am, hoping to be your next favorite nerd rapper! Or not. But if you’re listening to my tunes, I greatly appreciate it, and would love to be your friend! I’ll gladly perform in your garage/basement/church for noms and Mountain Dew, and I could always use more good beats since I’m still getting used to creating my own. And yes, I WILL do a collab with you!
Diabeats: Diabeats is a type-1 diabetic, type-A personality nerdcore hip-hop artist originally from York, PA. In the spring of 2008, a college housemate introduced her to underground hip-hop and encouraged her to write a rap song, understanding her love of writing and poetry. After having nearly illegal amounts of fun doing so, she penned a few more and eventually, through meeting friends online and off, found her way into nerdcore. It proved a perfect place for her style where she met wonderful friends and mentors; she later joined Scrub Club Records. Her songs deal in wordplay and nerdy allusions, with too many references to “hips, lips and tits.”
