Year 6 Dates Announced!

CINCINNATI, OHIO – April 5-7, 2013 will mark the 6th annual A&G Ohio. This year A&G Ohio has a new host hotel in the Crowne Plaza Hotel – Cincinnati North. Located just south of the outer belt on the north side of Cincinnati, Ohio. The Crowne Plaza has the largest meeting space outside of downtown and also has endless possibilities for A&G Ohio to grow into the adjacent Sharonville Convention Center.

Hotel rooms will be very affordable at the Crowne Plaza, with a rate of $99/night.
The hotel is equipped with an indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, Coco Key Water Park (additional $12/day charge), separate wing with Smoking Balconies, and more.

That is not all of the good news for 2013! Next year will mark the first appearance for a few new guests to the area! Also, there are many new events planned for the upcoming year.

Animation and Gaming Ohio (A&G Ohio) is a convention ran by the fans, for the fans. It not only includes Japanese animation, but American animation as well. Gaming is also incorporated with the signature events and the massive game room A&G has to offer. The focus of A&G Ohio is to bring the unexpected as well as something new and different. A&G Ohio is a six year convention based out of Westerville, OH. The first A&G Ohio was held in Akron, OH. before settling down in Cincinnati, Oh in 2008-2009.

We know it has been a while since anything has been heard from Animation & Gaming Ohio, but great things come from those who wait!

A&G Ohio will have dates and location for 2013 next week!

That is not all! We will also be debuting 3, YES 3 NEW EVENTS! Not to mention a brand New Musical, Cosplay Wrestling, Additions to the Costume Contest and More!

So after the dust settled on A&G Ohio 2012, I can not say that I am happy with the outcome. Mostly due to issues between the host and the convention itself. All of the heads of staff spent more time fighting for the rights of the attendees and in return there were a few areas that suffered for it. There were also issues on space which led to changes in schedule on Friday morning, Power issues during Friday’s dance and more. I am truly sorry to the hosts that got moved around, fans that were harassed or even discriminated upon. At this moment I would humbly like to request that ANYONE that had issues with the hotel staff to please email me directly: conchair@AandGohio.com thank you for attending A&G Ohio 2012 and we are also taking suggestions/ideas for the future via our forums as well.

2013: We will not be returning the the GWL for obvious reasons and some not so obvious.
Hopefully we will have questions answered next week.
