A&G
OHIO? What does that mean?
In short, Animation & Gaming Ohio.
We are a broad based Animation & Video Game Convention based
out of Cincinnati, Ohio. We try to focus on everything animation
has to offer and not just cartoons, anime or a specific brand.
What makes A&G Ohio Special?
We focus more on new and exciting events that get the staff as well as our guests
involved (by guests we mean you!).
All of our signature event are personally created and are re-worked every year
to ensure each event is memorable.
We also have a very strong passion when it comes to booking our guests. We have a stellar reputation for bringing NEW and exciting guests that never have been to a convention or just have not been in the area! We choose a well known convention guest every year as well.

Past Attendance?
To be honest, we do not like to give out attendance numbers.
Why? People hang on numbers too much and forget why they actually go to a convention.
A&G Ohio has been super lucky in having both great attendance and attendees!
We really would like to try and just make the best convention possible and put
all the
money right back into the convention to keep on improving.
To be fair to people and not mislead anyone, A&G Ohio 2010 did exactly what we wanted to do and that was break 1,000 in attendance (just door pre-reg and door sales).
Who created A&G, and why was A&G created?
A&G Ohio was created by Jason Taylor. One night on the drive home from a
convention, he started thinking of why no matter what, certain things could never
sit right
in his head. Why can't hotel staff be nice to attendees? After
30 conventions in a year, why did almost every convention have the same guests?
Why are the costs of these convention going up and up, and the fans are getting
less
out
of the
event? Well, with the helpful push of a few aquaintances (Ryan
Logan, Tony Todoro, Josh Farley, Jenn Taylor), A&G was born.
The covention was not created in spite, but in the spirit of giving the fans a great experience. A&G is pushing the limits of the imagination and the ability to do things that could not be pulled off elsewhere.
